Most comedians say that the secret to good comedy is timing. Personally, I disagree. The secret is understanding that we live in a world of pain, where even our greatest successes are inevitably doomed to be swept away by the ceaseless forces of entropy and on which our presence is barely a speck on the celestial march towards oblivion.
