Because it looks good on me? I mean outside of looks I attribute it to the idea that I always like Commander Riker's beard on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

The Goyer/Robinson/Johns JSA run, which was often inconsistently traded. It's a great run, and deserves something similar to the Morrison JLA Deluxe Treatment. As well, continuing the JLA Deluxe run with Mark Waid's material is top on my list. (As well as a DC 1000000 Omnibus!)

      10. "Errand of Mercy" - Not the greatest plot, but the best portrayal of a TOS Klingon in John Colicos' Kor.
      9. "The Empath" - One of the few McCoy centric episodes, one of the few times only culturally different aliens work.
      8. "A Piece of the Action" - One of the oddest episodes of Trek, it features Kirk fighting alien 1920s mobsters and the best card game ever.
      7. "Who Mourns for Adonais?" - Really, not a great episode, but I love it because it challenges ideas of belief in the midst of the 60s. A required network censoring changes manages to mask a rather atheistic statement from Kirk.
      6. "The Doomsday Machine" - The classic example of Kirk is the only capable captain in Starfleet vein, this tense episode pits Kirk against an unstoppable weapon AND conflict with a deranged Superior Officer.
      5. "Balance of Terror" - Great drama, great ship-to-ship combat. Plus, Uhura at the helm!
      4. "Let This by Thy Last Battlefield" - the best allegory for racism I've ever seen in Sci-Fi. Over the top, yet, but spot on. Plus, Frank Gorshin.
      3. "Mirror, Mirror" - One of the best alternate universe stories in SciFi. A dark reflection of what we could be.
      2. "Amok Time" - At times silly, but it does its best for the time period to show a "full" alien culture.
      1. "The City on the Edge of Forever" - Simply the best episode of the show.

Heights. I hate them. I have issue getting on down escalators because of it, but I soldier on, though I may not get on in one step. There's also a degree of ridiculousness to it - that is, it's so high I can't believe it. Like flying in a plane or on top of the Empire State Building, then I'm fine. No... it's the mediocre heights that trouble me.

London, England. Unimaginative, I know, but I so long to be in England! Failing that, perhaps Prague or Shannon, Ireland.

Brilliant and miserable. I couldn't imagine not being smart. Don't think I could live with it. (Which I realize sounds pretty damn arrogant!)

The Question Mark. It's got a fun shape, and a fair bit of character for a mark. Many other punctuation marks represent nothing more than a breath or stoppage. The ? actually serves a purpose of attesting to whether something is a statement or a question?

I'd love to be able to play the piano. I can sort of futz around it with one hand and do pretty well. (I can play Saria's Song from Zelda: Ocarina of Time pretty well and about half of Philip Glass's Metamorphosis.)

Artist. I love paintings and to take in the whole art experience. I do have a good eye for aesthetics, but I have utterly no talent in drawing or painting. I am a fairly decent writer, though.

iFanboy and Twitter in a tie. Without a doubt, I'm usually on both several times a day. I've sort of slowed down with facebook since grad school.

I think two days in college. I can not stand to be unwashed. I love feeling clean. There are times when I may even take 2 or more showers in a day. The fact that I even went two days (most likely finals) appalls me.

I am flow goer. While I like to have a sense of what I'm doing, I don't get hung up about it. Though, I usually like to know I'm doing something with a little prep time. I am punctual to a fault, so I think there's a secret planner sitting inside me. But I'm not set in my ways,

I'd have to say it's probably God Loves, Man Kills. I think it's the most solid Claremont's storytelling had ever been. Other than that I would say "Dark Phoenix Saga," "The Judgement War" from X-Factor, and Morrison's "Imperial."
