I personally think emotions are what make us human. They're always there, and some may not necessarily be good, but they are. If all you feel is pain, you need to see what's causing it, and take steps to fix it. You need to take a deep breath, relax and take in the world around you. Listen to the birds chirping, the leaves rustling, the wind whistle. You'll feel grounded, pure, strong, relaxed, peaceful. They're all emotions, and I think while you may feel a lot of pain, you certainly do feel a lot of other emotions but they're just not as significant.

It depends how you feel towards them. If you feel the same, tell them! If you don't, just be considerate. Let them know that you're willing to help them with whatever they need, but you just don't feel the same way. Don't be rude or confrontational about it, just be honest and things should go just fine!

If he loves you, he'll tell you he does if you ask. You two sound lovely together, and if you want him to tell you he loves you, ask. He said he'd do anything, so that includes telling you he loves you with all your heart. Five words is all you need - "tell me you love me."

I'm sure there's nothing you've done, honestly. Like with the other anon, someone WILL come along. They'll take you out on dates, and make you so happy. They'll love you in every way you wish for, and make you feel like they only have eyes for you. Just hang in there. There's nothing you've done, you're unique. People automatically think that because people aren't flocking to them, they're broken somehow. You're not, and I can guarantee you're absolutely stunning both inside and out. <3

That's so mean! Someone else, who loves you just as much (if not more), will come along and make all the pain and waiting worthwhile. Just hang in there, and it'll come when you least expect it. :)

I'm terribly sorry to hear what you have to endure, every single day you're in your own home. I did a Google Places search with the keywords "abuse shelter Los Angeles" and quite a few results came up. The search includes telephone numbers, and if you ring around they might be able to suggest someone or somewhere else to stay. I hope things start to look up for you. <3

I had this friend that used to run it with me - and she helped me come up with a name. However, we went different ways quite fast (ie. best friends to enemies in about an hour) and it just stuck.
