I had the worst time of my life. My room key broke on the first day after I took a shower and holding all my soaking clothes and towels, and I had to go to orientation looking like shit.
All my clarinet reeds were either cracked, chipped, or super thin and worn out. I had to play my clarinet for 6 hours a day and slept on a shitty bed with only a thin blanket and an uncomfortable pillow.
It was during the summer, so it was hot as balls.
The days were long and I hardly got to spend time with my roommate (my friend from school), so I felt alone and I wanted to go home.
So... that's what happened at band camp. -
