I'm an only child, but I never had an imaginary friend. Now that I think back to it, I had always given my lego creations, my pokemon figurines and my toy dinosaurs a voice, but I could never conjure up an entity that would stay the same being. I suppose it could have been my ADHD, as it made me get bored of one thing too quickly, which meant that whenever I did make something out of lego I'd give it a few scenarios then make it have a catastrophic explosion/meltdown/abduction. That way, I always kept making new things to entertain my imagination rather than have the same imaginary friend to keep me company.

Well, your English wasn't that bad when I met you, and my flatmates tell me my standard of English is reducing to slurs and grunts, so you must be talking it better than me!

Typical to my ethnicity, it was maths, although I didn't enjoy it. Hours and hours of doing blank, meaningless equations to pass the time made me quite adept at logically thinking through maths problems, although it is questionable how I don't have enough logic to make the university turnstiles work when you swipe in and swipe out your card. The best subject that I enjoyed at school was science, right up to the point of chemistry, which is odd since I did so well at maths. My worst subject was religious studies, which doesn't mean I'm ignorant, I just had the most boring teacher in the world, and I guess what would've been the worst possible subject for me to take was History, because pre-GCSE I had no interest in whatsoever. I guess that explains why I'm so clumsy all the time.

Aside from the fact that I used Google Translate to actually see what your question was about, I had started learning Spanish in school when I was in secondary school right up until I moved to Kent, which was when I as about 14, which leads up to the point where I met you at that fateful MCR concert (No, I don't still listen to them). I was actually top of my class in spanish, always being able to tell the teach what time it was, but soon found out that secondary school education of languages was near enough useless, as when my parents took me to spain the only thing I could ask of locals was "Donde esta igelsa", which prompted many blank stares from the shopkeepers. I hope to brush up on my Spanish tongue, which is lacking in experience, but I've found no motivation as of late. Someday, I'll pick up a Rosetta Stone guide on Spanish. And maybe Gaelic. Or Latin.

I speak Cantonese Chinese, Mandarin Chinese (Badly), un poco espanol, and of course, English. Though being multicultural has always been an area of enthusiasm since I was young, I find that the chances to express different languages as you grow older gets scarcer and scarcer. Since moving to Birmingham, I've had less chance to talk to my parents, which in my house I only speak Chinese, and since moving schools from London, I've had to cease Spanish lessons all together. I'd like to re-kindle the flame I had for learning new languages sometime, but I think I' only be willing to learn it if I saw future opportunities to use them. Come on, what's good about learning French then moving to Indonesia?

The last song that got stuck in my head would be "A Cheery Wave From Stranded Teenagers" by Mogwai. It's just got that element that feels slightly nostalgic, 6/8 catchy piano riff, and it sounds weird but I kind of like the repetition that doesn't feel like a repetition every few bars, which makes the twinkly piano bits even more thought grasping. And if you're reading this, yes I got bored.

That would be the stupidest decision I could take

D: Seriously, people's usernames on formspring most likely aren't their real name, so it's a pretty daft attempt to make people think you have a personal connection. soo.........WHATS MA NAME.
