What is love? Well, what is happiness? Or what is sadness? I guess you'd answer the last two in accordance with what is universally-agreed upon as responses to those questions (happy=good, blissful; sad=shitty). I would say love is the same way. We all know what it is based on what society and culture has defined it to be: complicated, but not so much when it's really love (apparently!); confusing at times; always messy. And guess what? Happiness makes an appearance within love's definition. But I don't believe that to be true necessarily.
I have been in love, or what I think to be love. It was deep, and tortuous and fleeting. And I was also miserable. So does that mean I'm different? Or that it wasn't love? I would have given up my religion, and my life to remain together.
And sure, you can "be in" love just like you can "be in" a pool; it's a mass that can drown you, and give you that heart-aching fear for life and breath the moment it's happening. It can drown out your thoughts and consciousness of the surrounding. But then you can get out. Sometimes with or without help. Before its too late. Or you can keep swimming. Or you can choose never to get into the pool at all. But that would be like never feeling sunlight on your face. And who wants that? -

Never really sat down and thought about this until, like, now. Vintage is the same thing as eco-friendly, just a nice idea. It could be easily interchanged with second-hand. Does that sound less glam? Easy answer: anything found in a vintage store? Or not made before 2000?

The fall left, and I'm such a bad person for not responding sooner. I did, in fact, "rock" some weird psuedo-oxford, but I buy shoes the least now. If they cost more than $50, I don't bite.

Robin Givhan, Hilary Alexander, Plum Sykes, Sally SInger. Locally: Amy Verner, David Livingstone and more I can't think of right now.

I have it tattooed on my body, hanging on my wall and on my keychain. I'd say so. But it's like a ghost. You think they exist, but you always wonder if you've actually see one. The heart, like the mind, can play cruel tricks.

Depends on the day. But I'm going to give you what you want, and say, sure.

The "dish girl" makes me think I know who this is. So, girl, I'ma dish it out.
At the moment: no one particularly
Celebrity crush: that Joe dude (the new werewolf from True Blood)
Internet crush: Sean Ward (not sexually, of course, because he's such a white boy, but his vlogs [http://www.youtube.com/seanward] are dope and never fail to make me smile)
Real life crush: Tyler -
No idea. My old editor alerted me, actually. And it was quite funny. Guess I should buy that bleach now, huh? What brand would you recommend? #inthenameofsally

HAH! (i actually typed 'GAG' by accident- Freudian slip much?). Media darling, hardly. Not my interest. As for day job, I write for a magazine - health, lifestyle, niche. Ups and downs, but I'm currently working on expanding the whole freelance thing -- too many other things I want to write about that I can no longer ignore or get from my current job.
