so far, I like it. But I don't love it yet. I think, ultimately, I have unrealistic expectations; the last two albums have hit during periods of emotional intensity in my life. I discovered Funeral right around the time of my then-boyfriend's father's death, and that whole album just yo-yos me back there. Neon Bible is a different series of events; I sometimes have trouble enjoying music on its own merits, but as a touchstone of the time in which I uncovered it.

Right now, Ready to Start's my favorite track. I need a week or two more of absorbing it before I make a call on it.
