Awesome! Sure, I do spend a lot of time in costume at the fountain area at Otakon, so you will probably see me there!

Sorry for the late response! I bought the petticoat from Ebay! It's Leg Avenue brand. :)

I have actually colored wigs without washing them - My Tira and My Little Pony wigs weren't washed after I coloried them. However, they are short wigs and weren't touching my costume parts. With a longer wig like that, the color will really rub off on your costume if you don't wash some of the sharpie out.

Sounds like more a dog name.

They are doing very well! Frank's feeling good most of the time now, and when he isn't I give him his meds and he feels better :)

So sorry for the delay in response. I forgot about my Formspring for a little while! I don't have any trade secrets! I am always willing to help out! I don't machine wash it. I haven't actually washed it! (i know, that's gross!). I can't wash this coat in a machine because of the vinyl and delicate hand sewing of the designs. The coat would either need to be hand washed or dry cleaned (though i'd want to ask if the chemicals could damage anything before hand). If the coat just had paint straight onto the coat, you could technically wash in a washing machine. Textile medium mixed with acrylic paints makes a flexible, permanent fabric paint that is fixed with an iron, and can be machine washed.
Very soon I will have to clean the coat, so I'll let you know if there are any issues with dry cleaning! XD -
That's an odd question. Kinda creeps me out >_>

I actually forget what pattern it was since it was made a long time ago. I'm pretty sure it was a heavily altered pattern though. Just look at the patterns for pirates and that sort of thing in the Halloween section of pattern books. You will probably be able to find something you can work with.

you could make the armor parts out of soft craft foam (mounted on a headband for the head peice). :) That would be the easiest way. My arm things are made from craft foam, and my head peice is craft foam over Wonderflex.

It's pretty difficult to choose sometimes! If I get really excited about making something, and I have it in my to-do list for a long period of time, those are the costumes I try to do first. I tend to start on things, lose interest, and never finish them. So! I have to make sure I am realllllly interested in something so that won't happen!

Yeah it can get pretty pricey! I just keep a realistic mindset and keep in mind the expenses that I have aside from my hobby. Real life stuff > cosplay stuff

Actually he is the one who purchased them. Not sure where he bought them, sorry! They are airsoft guns, and probably aren't allowed at most conventions.

I'm not sure! It's been forever since I played that game. Have you tried gamefaqs.com?
