I don't know, but...BEHOLD!

Oh, wait -- I'm being told that yes, the iPhone can read ebooks. If you're reading it on such a small screen, I might recommend waiting a few weeks for the print version instead. -
Exactly what I said: taking it out of the store without paying for it, and then throwing it in the garbage. Just to be a jerk.

1.) Fuck remakes.
2.) Well, they're both better than XIII.
3.) But still, fuck remakes. -
At this point, nothing. I've stared at it for so long that it's stopped representing anything.
You might as well ask me the question in the form of a mad lib. -
Uhmmm....honestly? War and Peace.
I think the value of novels is how they are able put human existence into perspective (to rend the curtain, to paraphrase Kundera) in a way no other medium can really achieve. And War and Peace is the supreme depiction of human existence put down in prose. It's sublime. It can't be equaled. It's the literary equivalent of looking at the Earth from space.
If a reader isn't changed after putting it down, then he wasn't paying attention. (Or, quite frankly, he's a dullard. Or maybe he just wasn't ready for it yet.)
I would hope that it would make people more humble and thoughtful. And perhaps it would help them to recognize the pointlessness of nationalism. (It's a very pro-Russia book, of course -- but with a little introspection and historical inquiry, it might help people recognize that every nation has its virtues and foibles, golden and dark ages.) -
Well, I...hmm.
I'm not sure that's entirely accurate. Anyway, what do you mean: that Shakespeare sometimes killed everyone off because he couldn't think of how to end a play, or that Shakespearean characters resolve their problems with mass slaughter? Either way, it's it's too much of a simplification to be correct. -

Yeah, sure. Can't say whether or not you'll see me, though. Maybe this will be the year when the organizers can afford my exorbitant public appearance fee.
-
Ohhhhhh yeah. And the unseasonal sogginess (and outright WEIRDNESS) of this particular winter is working hell on my mood. THANK YOU FOR ASKING.

Yeah, man. It's one of those books I put off for so long because I'd heard so much about it (how can one not?) that I didn't think it was a priority -- I already got the gist of it. Boy, was I mistaken. There's an unfordable gulf of difference between The Gist of 1984 and 1984 itself. It's a damn near perfect novel.
(At Decoy's insistence, I put down 1984 one evening -- I was still only fifty or so pages into it -- and read I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. After reading that and then finishing 1984, I can say that between the two, 1984 is FAR scarier.) -
Sure. I'll need your Kindle and a small, powerful magnet.

What? Really? 8easybits.net SHOULD redirect you to comicsovereasy.net, where you can find all of the old comics.

The lovely thing about art of any kind is that it can denote or represent pretty much whatever you want it to. I would be prepared to explain the reasoning behind my assessment, though.
So, sure. FF1 represents a battle with hubris. Now tell me why. -
Got nothing to play it on, so probably not. Looks neat, though.

The only "new" game I played in 2011 was King of Fighters XIII, and the only times I was able to play it were during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Other than that, I really only played various Metal Slug games and Einhander. Nothing really worth writing about.
-
Honestly? At this point I don't really care.
No matter how much crap is on the market at any time, there will always be at least a few gems. Play those. Ignore the rest.
