Well hopefully I'll be a robot by then.

Seriously though, this question would take me so long to answer. I'm a bit of a... futurist and singularitarian, so I see the future as being very bright, very exciting, and full of things like nanobots in our brain and living forever and all that jazz.

That I am really terrible at making up my mind about any sort of moderately "big" decision.

I also get guilt tripped into doing far too many things than I should, I think.

Oh man why do you ask me such questions? D: Probably clockworks though... less bulky, and I like the ticking :3

People who really noisily slurp their fingers after they eat. That just grosses me out.

D: as soon as I remember! Which book do you want? Both? I can arrange that :3

Truthfully it sort of depends on what else is going on in my life. When I was playing WoW a lot, I was on a lot of WoW blogs. When doing research for my book, I was on a lot of steampunk sites (I still post at one steampunk forum pretty regularly.) When I was big into Neopets I was on Neopets 24/7.

Currently it's largely DeviantArt, Twitter, 4chan (yeah, I know...) - /v/ is my usual haunt and the source of most of the funny images I post on Twitter-- I also spend a lot of time just talking to friends on IM or playing games.

The last really, REALLY good book I read? Probably The Island of Dr. Moreau.

A publisher recently read the thing in its entirety (as far as I'm aware; they at least read the first half or so) and rejected it but offered some solid criticism, both positive and negative. I'm not sure where I'm going with the book at this point, I sort of want to shelve it for a while and come back to it later.

As far as I am aware, Kindle is the only major e-Reader that does not take the ePub format and that's the easiest kind to convert documents to. If I can figure out another way to Kindle-ize the book I'd be happy to do so...

I think it's the whole idea of being caught between two worlds: not quite robotic, but not quite human. I've always sort of felt that way, in more ways than one. My interest in both art and science, for example, or my tendency to be both gullible and skeptical, or even the fact that I'm multi-ethnic. As a related note I also love multi-racial characters, including half-elves in fantasy (I'm a sucker for half-elves)

Truthfully, probably one of my own original characters, or a combination thereof.

If that doesn't count-- I've always felt a weird connection to robots or mechanical-style characters. Data from Star Trek or the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz have been some of my favorites for as long as I can remember.

I would continue to write and create things and learn, same as I do now on my days off from work. As for what others might do... I don't know. I always used to assume everyone was like me-- everyone had a motor in them that made them just want to endlessly create and read and learn-- but these days I wonder if that's a rarer gift than I thought.

Best - Probably Crime and Punishment. Jane Eyre a close second.

Worst - I can name a ton I disliked. "Bridge to Terabithia" in fourth? grade... hated it. And half of the books in AP English. Their Eyes Were Watching God, Heart of Darkness... Sound and the Fury I also wasn't a fan of although I can see why it was considered important.
