Yeah, there's no answer to this one. It's an immature question, anyway. But I will say this. Everyone that I've dated has made me happy at the point in my life that we did. And when we broke up, there was pain on both sides just like there is during every breakup. That's just how it goes. I am no exception. I have been hurt. But I hold no malice towards any of my ex's. Life goes on, you know? No use hanging in the angst of the past when you both could have a bright future instead. They are all great people and I wish them the best. I really do.

Oh yeah sure no problem. I myself wasn't that big of a fan of it on a first listen, seeing as I was just getting into rap myself. It was definitely outside of my comfort zone on a first listen but I kept listening to it basically because I had this feeling there was more to it, eventually getting most of it on my third or fourth playthrough. And I've realized that it takes a couple listens to really understand what any rapper is really trying to say in their songs (at least for the good ones). Watch the Throne just happened to be more of a focused effort with common themes throughout and that's what really makes it as good as it is.

If you knew them, and if you knew what they meant to me, you'd understand. I'll try to explain it to you in a nutshell.

Nick was basically the whole reason I passed Precal, and the kinds of conversations and debates that we had together opened my mind beyond any normal person's capacity. I am a smarter, more intelligent individual because of him, and more proud of who I am because of that. We were dorks together, and we were bros together. And bros never forget bros. He had a love for classic rock we shared (particularly Boston), and an affability for logical insights ranging from anything between lockpicking to politics that enriched our characters in every discussion we shared. It's a connection that is never severed. I love him and I'm always wishing him well every time I think of him. Which I apparently do even when unconscious.

Mattie meant a lot to me mainly because her determination to succeed matched Nick's, and yet she never compromised her own personality, which conflicted with Nick's more than half the time. She was strong and smart and yet still a girl, with an aptitude for French and its styles, musical finesse, and even science. She was very easy to talk to, keeping her personality both contained and displayed, and took on any educational or social challenge with a smiling confidence that never seemed to reach a hint of darkness.

That's almost it. There's so much more I could say but words would not be enough.I miss them. I really do.

In my personal experience... only in the sense that it becomes bearable. Though every type of abandonment is different. There are a lot of specifics. Life is messy, you know?

Yes, but nothing in particular. I collect things that are forgotten. Socks or gloves left behind weeks after a band practice, old books people leave in classrooms all over the place, notes passed in class that get left behind over time, old notebooks that I don't even own, just anything that people so easily forget. I collect them so they may inspire me to do something else with them someday. Nothing deserves to be forgotten, after all.
