The Santa Fe refurb is already going on for several months. All rooms will get a Cars theme with new colours, light fixtures, furniture, etc.

Yes, Duffy the Disney Bear character will be introduced and a new show on Central Plaza Stage featuring Aurora.

It has been cancelled for the 20th anniversary and so far there are no plans for the future. Perhaps for 2013 for the more then likely "20th Anniversary Continues"?

I don't think there will ever be a solution for the fireworks displays. They can/should however focus on something entirely different, like a sound and light show on a big scale, developed by Walt Disney Imagineering (like Fantasmic, World of Color).

There are several attractions that were never build on that map, like the Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Indiana Jones Adventure rides.
"Le Jungle Inexploree" was a jeep ride on tracks that would have taken guests among scenes with audio-animatronic animals and through caves and a temple. It would have been located near Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril. -
I love Princess and the Frog, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty,... etc.
