It depends on when you apply. But usually we ask for things like a resume, comprehensive portfolio, photo essays, essays, photo critiques, and one top secret but very important requirement. It's a good amount of work, but only similar in load to what we actually do on a monthly basis.

Aww, thank you! But honestly there are days when I look like crap, all splotchy and tired, those days I usually don't even bother to think of how I look. Normal days though about 2 minutes? I'm always late, so I dry my hair by keeping the window of the car down and only wear lipgloss. HAHA

I don't use notebooks anymore, haha! I used to have one of the big multi-subject ones but ended up forgetting them a lot. Now I just carry around a clipboard and paper, then transfer all of my notes to my laptop.

Aww thank you, Ate Lorra. :) I didn't know you're from Davao- it's a wonderful place! Everyone's so warm and the atmosphere is so laid back and I love how you can get to both the mountains and the sea within minutes. I hope to be back soon as well!

If I'm not mistaken, the 18-200 has a narrower focal length? Not too sure. But I wanted the f/2.8 of the 28-75. :) It's pretty flexible. I don't have a working kit lens too so I figured this would be okay (it has been so far) and for longer range shots I'm saving up for a better tele, probably a Canon.

Personally I think it's that after using a Canon 24-70 you get a little disappointed, haha! So I try not to think about that so much. Tamrons focus slower than sigmas but since I don't use the lens I have for sports anyway, I figured it would be alright. I chose it over the sigma because the image quality is drastically different- the sigma focus tends to be off and the overall image effect is soft. Tamron's pretty sharp for a third party brand. :)

Hi! It's been awhile since I went through that, but I promise to try to answers your questions. I remember the ACET was pretty challenging, partly because of the content, but mostly because of the time pressure. There's a section wherein you have to answer 20 items in 5 minutes! But I think if you condition yourself to answer fast and think quick, it's doable. To prepare for all my entrance exams, I did two things: study on my own, and group study with a tutor. My parents weren't big on review centers because they felt like it was easy to lose focus in a big class and I think in some way they were right. There were 6 of us in our group and our tutor specialized in entrance exams so we would take mock tests under time pressure every weekend in the summer before senior year. On my own I used SAT review books and reviewed basic concepts through the guides in them. Another effective and cheaper way is to borrow the reviewers of your friends from the different review centers and try their tests on your own. Oh and I prayed a lot- I wanted to get into Ateneo but since I was so scared, I'd just ask that God show me where He wants me to be. Less pressure on yourself. :) Hope this helps!

      Rotate between my kit lens, Canon 50mm f/1.8, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, and a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 which I borrow from a favorite friend. :)

I've never heard of this place but after finding it on google, I'm sold! :) Will try to head to Bataan before the end of June, adventure part two time. Thanks for the suggestion!

I have shot there and think it's a pretty amazing place. :) Anywhere in Manila is actually! But shall definitely considering going back before classes start. Thanks!

Thank you so much! It's a difficult period, but I guess you're right. Does make me appreciate life a lot more. :) From the bottom of my very grateful heart however I thank you for making me smile this Saturday night!

Hmm. If I Fell by The Beatles, That's All by Frank Sinatra, and John Mayer's Slow Dancing in a Burning Room.

I don't know, I just think liking someone can be very complicated. Especially when they're enigmatic or hard to read (which he is) things get a little less than clear. But he's an absolutely wonderful person whom I love talking to, and I don't mind if things don't change anytime soon.

Hands down, Panglao island in Bohol. It's where I plan to get married someday! :) Unlike most people though, I don't like really popular places like Boracay and Baguio anymore, I like really quiet ones where you actually get to think and don't accidentally bump into someone you know. My other favorites are Cebu for the food, La Union for the surfing, Vigan for the culture, Bataan and Dapitan for their history.

Among the summer destinations I still dream of hitting (hopefully before I graduate) are the islands of Misibis and Carmoan, Pagudpud, and Batanes.
