Well, Pen was the main inspiration. But I tried to incorporate a somewhat modern take on what the Fleischer studios were doing in the 30s as well. What's so nice about Adventure Time is that we designed a show that allowed and supported each artist to bring a huge chunk of themselves to the table.... creating tons of inspiration from the people working side by side with you.

I haven't gotten any questions in a while.

The show at Disney is good, it's called Gravity Falls and premieres in June.... but I'm actually not there working on it anymore. But lots of my friends are :)

I try to answer everything... But I get busy and forget to answer some. And some questions really don't interest me in answering them.

I've only watched a few episodes... Which I feel bad about, since I have tons of friends that work on it. It's a very billy and Mandy / chowder crew.

Why not?

I'm pretty sure that the Phil face was a group effort consisting of pen and natasha. And then Bert and Tom had a hand in it as well.
