Short answer: Sometimes but not usually and not for long.
Long answer:
No... Yes... No. Sometimes I regret it because I think going to law school means I have to be a lawyer forever, and that kind of gets me down. I feel like I closed doors. But then there's the fact that I think I might want to be a lawyer forever, and if I change my mind, going to law school opened lots of doors that wouldn't have been open otherwise. Law school was pretty expensive and I had to take on a lot of debt to fund it, which is a bummer but was worth it. I met B at law school, which I wouldn't trade for anything.
At the end of the day, law school changed me. I am a fundamentally different person that before I went, which has more to do with the experience than anything I actually learned, and more to do with the person I became than the lawyer I became. I really do love what law school made me into. Regardless of whether I remain a lawyer, I will remain this person that law school made me.
