      What was your favorite toy to play with as a child?

      My toy panda, which a home help stole, saying "you don't need this anymore".

      What was your first paying job?

      I collected pig swill for a pig farmer. We had to collect left over food from fish and chip shops, pubs, restaurants, bakeries and so on. By the end of the day you ended stinking of grease and rotten food, and you were the lowest of the low by those you collected the food from.

      I also discovered what utterly disgusting conditions pigs were allowed to be kept in;overcrowded, stinking, dirty, incredibly hot, with pigs fighting each other as they were never allowed out of the sheds they were kept in.

      All the food collected was boiled up into a giant stew, the grease drained off to be given to a local soap/perfume factory, and the remaining stew, including left over, bacon, sausages and pork, fed back to the pigs.

      I'll only eat outdoor reared pork now; feeding pigs swill is now banned.
