A long time ago, I met a man named Peter Patrick. He was the most incredible person I had ever met -- and bore an uncanny resemblance to me (he wasn't asian at all).
He became my idol. We used to make fun of each other by calling ourselves the other's name (I would go by Patrick instead of Peter and likewise).
One day, due to the influence of alcohol or otherwise, I came up with a shortened form of his name -- patapete -- to which this day became a moniker that's stuck with me ever since.
All of this is true, by the way. -
Thanks! From what I understand, Examiner has a character limit that I (at the moment) don't know off the top of my head. I realize they tend to end somewhat abruptly but only because I'm afraid of crossing that threshold.

The internets. Seriously, clothes stores just don't cut it these days, because they don't really have my size.
Plus, I like to buy stuff that most people don't wear.. -
Best one I've ever went to was here locally. It was a giant concert with all kinds of local bands, all in one place. I had never been to a live show, so I was really surprised and amazed at just how good people are here in town.
A friend of mine also has a band of her own too; that was also a great experience. My first, actually (lol).
One of these days I want to check out a big concert or whatever big name band that might swing by! -
Hmm, good question. Love of writing, I'd say. At the beginning I had no intention of taking it any further than during a 2-week vacation in Japan, but due to a friend's insistence I kept chugging along.
Partially because I wanted to get better at writing, and partially because I really do enjoy writing funny things that might make people laugh.
The key is finding things you like to write about, and finding something you enjoy speaking about. If you feel you can do something better, then do it! -

I used to just look at my own character to see / get an idea of where I'm at and what I'm doing, but lately my gaze has been centered somewhere between myself and the other person.
It also depends on the game, really, because in Tekken I almost exclusively stare at the other person (lol).
