london is exciting, diverse, somewhat intimidating sometimes. we've been blessed with great weather, it only drizzles a little for max half the day and the rest is pretty sunny and pleasant autumn weather! its expensive, no doubt, especially eating out (the minimum you'd spend is like 8 pounds), but supermarket shopping isn't so overpriced relative to the quality you get. waitrose (supermarket) is amaaaazing I love everything there <3
people are friendly, its far from stifling.

I don't actually have an allowance, the money is in the bank account and I can just withdraw money whenever I need to. that said, my parents trust that I won't spend recklessly and I try not to.. except that I've stopped converting the pound to sgp dollar so everything isn't as overpriced anymore heh. yes I am enjoying myself despite the crazy workload, thank you! :)

Hmmm they'll definitely change inevitably because now their life is all about NS and hence their thoughts and words are consumed by NS! If there's any good change, its that they learn to appreciate the outside world a lot more. That includes family, friends and me :)

Hm I'm living in a double room, which means that I have one roommate and two other apartment mates. The place is a lot nicer than I expected, its new with a comfortable bed and my bed is right by the big window which I love! :) Quite hapz hehe lots of beer parties in my room!
