Hiya, mine goes about up to 7 hours if I'm just word-processing nothing heavy is running in the background. When I'm editing photos, for example in the airport then it seems to last about 2.5h. I'd go for PC anytime over mac, it may be pretty and all but by the second year it'll be more of a clunky baggage than a shiny pretty thing :P

Oh really? Like which? I mostly have clothes from ASOS, Uniqlo, Topshop. The 'brandier' ones are sponsored gifts mostly! I don't think I've ever spent more than £120 on a piece of clothing unless shoes!

Just a over-commercialized day really, never meant anything to me!

I was into photography when I got my first point-and-shoot when I was about 17, so I carried that around EVERYWHERE and did mini photoshoots in the school studio and such. My best advice is to carry around your camera everywhere, whatever the camera model, whatever the occasion. You'll learn mostly from trial and error and doing the settings will come as second nature. Photoshop was self-taught since I was 17 too, I guess I was always online taking minor tasks like making banners and sites for friends online.

prints? ooh I never thought that my photos were good enough to be sold like that!

Thank you! I work as a graphic designer and photographer!

Autofocus always, with digital it's always a bit of a gimmick to manually focus anyway!

Ah yay! It's a basically a Lifestyle & Food blog, quite similar to mine in nature, but it's a little-sister for a bigger site we're launching called Editer.com! For now it's just a journal!

I use Adobe Photoshop to edit my photos, this post by Carrie might be a useful post http://bit.ly/xwQhTW, and here are some photoshop actions! http://bit.ly/e4XzjR Post-production really depends on what photos I take and what kind of mood I want to create, so I make my own actions!

I use Canon 5D Mark II and a 50mm lens

Ah don't worry about it! For the tickets you have to get in touch with the PRs of the individual brands and ask them for tickets, stating your accreditation and why you would like a ticket. Then they'll assess that and decide whether to allocate you one! Depending on how early you request tickets, they'll arrive in your UK address or you'll get an e version. Hope that helped!

That's OK! She never had the Sigma f1.4, she had the Canon 28mm before which she sold, now I believe she's using a 50mm f1.4 with a Canon 5D Mark II!
-
Totally makes sense, the bokeh shapes are different in lenses. I personally recommend the 30mm, I find the 28 slightly on the slow side and also doesn't take as much light as sigma's 1.4!

Um sure, ASOS.com is definitely good, but check out Yoox.com as well, they have a great range of brands for slightly cheaper. If you like Korean/Japanese, try Yesstyle.com, Storets.com, Queenswardrobe.com too!

Yup it's definitely best to shoot in overcast weather, but you can actually make the most out of the sun! Sometimes it can add really stark lighting so you can do something dramatic with it, or maybe geometric? Photographers must be the only ones asking for gloomy weather though! haha x

Oooh I wouldn't know much since I went to an art uni and we brought all kinds of bags in, from clutches to A1 sized portfolio cases! But how about the classic Cambridge Satchel bags? http://bit.ly/xAKbYV (or slightly cheaper version at http://bit.ly/xiCeEg)

Hi hi, ooh I wouldn't worry so much about the appearance of the portfolio, there's almost a danger of over-craftyness which 1) might irritate the admissions officer 2) might deliver a wrong message. But a bit of flair wouldn't hurt, a nice coloured ribbon could be cute! All portfolios gets looked at, so don't worry about it getting lost!
