I would love to learn to speak Japanese and French.

I've taken both languages as classes in high school and college - but still can't form sentences >.<

My husband speaks japanese and his mom speaks japanese almost exclusively. I would love to be able to converse with her. And now that I'm about to have a baby, I'd love to be able to teach my child japanese, though s/he would probably pick it up a lot faster than I would. It would also be nice to be able to read manga (not translated to english).

French is just a beautiful sounding language to me. Romantic and lovely.
