Appreciate a girl for who she is. Sometimes there may be qualities about a girl that you may not like or are not used to, but you shouldn't mold her to become your perfect girl.
The only times I believe anyone should change is if whatever they are doing is harming them significantly. Otherwise, you should learn to love her flaws.
The perfect girl does not exist. You shouldn't love a girl because she's perfect, she's perfect because you love her.
Also, don't be afraid to put some of your emotions out there. Don't be the super-sensitive type, but don't be a heartless jerk either. If you really do like her, show her you care. Don't play hard to get. Don't try to mess with her head.
