My first response to this was "Hell no. 1) I hate politics, 2) I hate politicians, 3) way too much responsibility and drama" but as I thought more about it, why not? I would at least bring honesty to the table, I wouldn't be bribed by special interest groups... I think I could make changes that would make this country better (starting with getting rid of the ridiculous tax cuts given to the rich and redistributing that to the much needed programs for education and the poor), and I think I could help with other conflicts in the world, because, really, if I sat down with some of the dictator assholes in the world wearing my favorite low-cut top? They'd be putty in my hands.
