There are elements that I want in my life in 5 years, which I can definitely picture. There are other areas that I'm still deciding on what I want them to be like... but once I make up my mind, I'll be able to picture them.

Neither... have never been a fan of sci-fi. Although Richard Dean Anderson's presence in Stargate would keep my attention for a few minutes... I had a crush on MacGyver as a kid!.

Probably Wired... or Fast Company!

Hi Tanya!
It'd probably be Jesus Christ. I would first check if he indeed said some of the things that he's purported to have taught. Then, I'd ask him his opinion on all the crazies out there that do some unspeakable things in his name.
After that, I'd ask him to turn a few dozen bottles of water into some really, really good wine, so I can keep them on the side.
Then, I'd ask him to tell me what the next Google search algorithm will be like... you know, for SEO. He ought to know that, right? :) -
Hello! I'm a bad, bad Formspring user. Just noticed this question now. Aren't I supposed to be notified whenever there's a new question?
If one were to think of WordPress as a CMS, then I'd say that WordPress it is THE content management system that I mostly recommend.
I was once involved in a project that ran on another CMS called Express Engine. It was very challenging to make any modifications without hiring some expert - and pricey - professional help. Maybe others have had better luck with it, but that incident definitely left me with a sour taste in my mouth about Express Engine.
Is there a CMS that YOU prefer? -
In my experience, it's not hard for sites to be accepted by AdSense, provided that they offer original, quality material, and that their content is actually worth being read.
The problem is that many potential AdSense publishers think that they can get away with putting together a site that has nothing but rehashed articles that are also available elsewhere online.
It's not a question of money. It's a question of content. If Google looks at your site and finds that it's lacking in that regard, chances are that therein lies your issue.

Hey, sorry for the late reply! Just saw your questions today, for some strange reason.
I'd recommend The Cascade Lounge, on Main and Broadway. They make a very good caipirinha. Or, in North Van, I'd recommend The District, on Lower Lonsdale. Good mojitos! -
Ha. That's easy. Nickelback. Although, technically, they are musicians (plural) - but you get the point.

Hello Cole,
It's taken me a while to respond, partially because there are so many annoying online marketing tactics out there - yet most of them are ineffective.
If I had to pick one, I'd select that where, in order for you to receive a report, white-paper, etc, you need to give your email address to whoever is providing you with that free material. If what is given away is good enough, odds are that I won't mind offering my email address. And, oh yes, make sure that the person can only receive that complimentary material through their email address. Don't give it away straight from the website.
Hope this helps! -
Cockroaches. Really. It comes from a really bad experience I had as a young child. I can scare a bear from my backyard (really) - but can not be anywhere near a cockroach.

It all depends on your industry. I'd say that the fastest and potentially cheapest way to get 1,000 visitors to your site would be through a PPC campaign - but that's relative to the cost per click that you'd pay for each ad.
There are other ways for you to quickly attract 1,000 visitors to your site, but they might not necessary be the cheapest. -
No... is that V for Vendetta?

Other than Brazil (where I was born), and Canada (which is my home), I've only been to the U.S. and Germany.

First, define the realm in which the definition of "talented" applies. Artistically? Professionally? There are many.

Jack Nicklaus during a Telus Skins Game in Whistler, 2005. His last game in Canada before retiring. But the one who made me go ga-ga was Saku Koivu, in Montreal, circa 97. He was standing next to Brian Savage at La RĂ´tisserie Italienne, in Montreal, and I was gobsmacked.

Make that a Guinness and I'm game! You're very welcome :)
