      I was wondering if you could tell me a few ideas of what I could make or do with felt? I like your website :)

      Thank you :) Oh, goodness - felt is so versatile, there are literally hundreds of things you can do with it. Some of my favourites are needle holders, felt food, pin cushions, tiny satchels to hold treasures and softies for children. It's also fantastic for children to use when they're learning to sew, because there are no raw edges to stitch in.

      I'm so sorry for my slow response, I haven't checked into Formspring for a week. Yes, I picked up my typewriter at a garage sale a couple of years ago and am using it for PL. I'm not really setting any goals for myself - if I miss a week here and there, then I'm okay with that. I figure that any pages I manage to keep up with and do are a bonus, and will be lovely to look back on over the years. So far, I've managed four weeks without a struggle :)

      I'm sorry but that coil mat was a gift from a friend a few years ago. It was a bought gift - not handmade.

      Thank you for your lovely question and yes, we did have a reservation for Crystal Lotus. I'm sorry but I can't remember the cost of it, but I am fairly sure (from memory) that they have a menu with prices on the Hong Kong Disneyland website.
      It was the BEST trip - we loved it!

      Hi, I am trying to access your archives but can't actually get there. I can't find a link to go to old posts and even if I go via Archives and click on the month I am only getting some of the posts for that month.

      Once you click on a month and scroll down to the bottom of the page, there are two tiny arrows (they're small & in the centre!) that look like this: >>

      Click on the arrows and you will go to the next page in the month - then repeat :)

      Thank you! A lot of her clothes are handmade and just bits and pieces that she finds in local stores - she chooses all of her own clothes now :)

      Hi Mel I am trying to teach myself how to crochet, and after about 20 mins I stopped to inspect my handywork and to my dismay it looked good but it started at 20 stitches but slowly got thinner towards the top! :( what am I doing wrong?? Allie x

      I'm presuming that you're doing a square or rectangle? Are you remembering to do 3 chain at each end when you turn (or 2 chain, depending on the pattern)...sometimes that a sure way to decrease as you go, accidentally.

      Concerning your recipe for homemade puff paint. How long does it last once you've microwave it? I am thinking about using it at VBS this month to paint a sand castle & am concerned if it spoils, molds, etc?

      Hello - huge apologies, I didn't receive a notification for your question! When we first created some puff paint designs, we left them sitting up on the window sill at home for display for several months. The puff paint didn't spoil at all :) Hope this helps,
