Ask me anything, as long as it's nice. (Or else I might punch.) xo

Umm, yeahhhh, we haven't put Jack in the room yet. lol. He's still pretty fussy and Maddie is such a light sleeper, so we're keeping him in the living room for a while. He was in our room for a week or two, but the kid grunts so much in his sleep that we weren't getting any rest at all! We're all happier now that he's down the hall. :D

Sometimes I do, I will admit. I haven't had many questions come my way that have been rude or overly-prying, but there are some things I just think it would be wise to keep to myself. :)

Yes, I had it done with both actually. My husband's niece was born with a heart defect and we thought it would be wise to check up on our babies as well. Not that it would make any difference in how much we'd love them, just to be prepared. Thankfully, they've both been healthy and without any heart problems. :)

I actually didn't make any this year! I do have some things I have been working on for the past few months in preparation for the big changes that are coming our way (me quitting my job to stay home with the kids and switching to one income). The biggest thing I've been trying to improve upon is being wise with money. I've never considered myself a cheap/thrifty person until semi-recently and it's been a challenge!

Thank you so much! I will be posting a tutorial this week, but for now, I'll let you in on a little secret... there are 2 whole items on the list of supplies. :)

      - a 12" foam wreath form (found at Michael's for about $4)
      - one roll of white yarn (again, found at Michael's for $2)

Whatever you decide to embellish your wreath with is up to you... store bought flowers, felt flowers, rosettes, Christmas tree ornaments, ribbon... the possibilities really are endless. Thanks again for the sweet feedback!

Ah, the question I've been asking myself over and over for the past 7 months! Well, we plan on having Maddie and Jack share a room actually! So far, with her new 'big girl bed' moved into the space and a few things rearranged, it's looking like they'll both fit in there pretty well. We'll be cozy in our little apartment, but the plan is to have a house in the next year or so. Hopefully we won't be too cramped for too long. :)

      Kisses from California. :)

Justin and I actually met on Myspace back in 2005. I know, internet romances are just SO cool.

We messaged back and forth in the typical flirty fashion and ended up meeting in person, falling in love, and marrying a year later. It's a classic love story, really. hahaha

Thank you! What a kind thing to say!

Oooh goodness... that has really been a struggle for Justin and I as well. The two of us don't get to spend a ton of time together during the week, so we try our best to make the little things count. He'll send me sweet little emails while we're at work to let me know he's thinking of me. I try to have dinner ready for him before he gets home. Or we'll pick up each other's favorite snack and have an impromptu movie night on the couch once Maddie goes to bed.

Whatever it is that we do for one another, it isn't usually extravagant. I'm thankful we both value the little things and are able to make each other feel special even when things are crazy! I really have a sweet one. :)

I have to say, if you asked me this question a month ago I would have just started bawling. Dramatic much? :)

No, but really.. I tend to go through times where I feel completely overloaded/overwhelmed by all the things going on in my life. I really can't handle stress well and I'll admit it. When that happens, I always know it's time to dial back on the unnecessary things, such as blogging or my Etsy shop, and turn up the amount of quality time with the people I love. My family and friends just have this way of filling up my tank when it's low!

Time for me, alone, with no one else is pretty much just the time I spend in the shower, haha. There aren't many quiet moments during my day, especially with a toddler running around, but I try to make time for it when I can.

Now that you mention it, I need to go get a pedicure. :)

An organized apartment and clean baseboards. :)

No seriously, our apartment is BADDDD right now and it's going to drive me nuts if I don't get it spotless and in order before the baby's born. It's driving me crazy. CRAZY, I tell you!

Thank you so much! This question came at a really funny time because I actually JUST cut a few inches off. :) I do plan on still growing it because I haven't had hair this long in... well, I never have!

I've heard that you shouldn't cut it while you're pregnant because once you get into the end months it truly is your 'crowning glory', as in it's the only thing that makes you feel cute, haha. So yes, I'm definitely taking that advice!

Yes, I have been! One time. :) Last September, Huggies was generous enough to send my family and I there to attend an event and we were able to meet a few other bloggers as well as Angie Harmon. It was a blast.

I want to be able to go back and have a chance to enjoy the city a little more though... we were only there 18 hours, sleep time included. eep.

If I lived in a larger home, perhaps I'd look into something like that. In our small apartment, it just wouldn't work well!

I truly wish I could give you some sound advice and that I had more knowledge on conceiving. I'm sorry you two are having such a difficult time!

I have several friends that have been in your shoes, and though I'm no expert on fertility or anything of that nature, they saw a doctor after a certain period of time. They were able to get the necessary help and all ended up with sweet babies of their own. Don't be discouraged! xo
