being Canadian is something that is intrinsic in most canadian's personalities. we have a social conscience and a general goodwill that sets us apart and blends into our everyday life. its not usually something we have to work it. it just is. - Raine

If fame is your end goal then find something else. Fame means nothing. as a lyricist you need to focus on writing the best stuff you can. being original and finding the uniqeness within you. all the other things will come in due time but it will only mean something if there is substance in your writing. - Raine

Naveed is rarely not in an OLP set. Its usually a good opener in festival situations where we haven't soundchecked and need some time to get accustomed to the stage sound. - Raine

"Where are you" was a band grasping at straws at the end of recording 40+ songs for HIPT. not our best work! shit happens! - Raine

the only pressure we feel is to continue growing as artists. we've made records that have both turned off and turned on new fans along the way.
we are definitely getting better at trusting our instincts. when we started this band our mantra was that if the 4 of us like the music were writing than hopefully a few more people will. its a good place to be especially as were finishing the new record. - Raine -
I'm sorry to say that I don't know how the whole thing works, that is, putting out tablature guitar books of your music. It's too bad though, because I used to use those as a kid all the time, until I learned to figure out songs by ear off of records. We probably haven't been approached by any tab book companies because, like the recordings themselves, many people get it off the internet for free so there is no motivation for a book company to print and put out a book, So, unfortunately you're stuck with questionable tabs from anyone online. Thus we see in action once again the "Cult of The Amateur"!! Like a lot of inventions, the internet is both a blessing and a curse. - Steve
printing out tab books is becoming more and more uncommon. these days.CHORDIE.COM has most tabs. the last one we had printed was the Clumsy record - Raine
