We've known each other since high school. We met in the 7th grade drama club and I was exceptionally obnoxious because I discovered he could draw and he didn't much like me at all at the time.

We hung out in the same social circles and when one of his friends ended up moving on and doing something else, we stared hanging out more. Turns out we had a lot of geeky/dumb things in common and we've pretty much attached at the hip since then.

We didn't start dating until after graduation, however. But we tell everyone we've been together since '97 because, let's be honest, it's more impressive.
