Interesting question, haha. We used to Google it before, haha. We found out that 'Kalingking' is actually a native dish in the northern Philippines (Batanes? and also found in Bicol, I think). It's a name they call for sweet potato fritters (think of camote cue sliced like French Fries).

The people! [We're] so kind, friendly, and hospitable. Naturally, we also do not discriminate nor do we think that we're better than anyone else. Although, I find it admirable that we take pride in all the great things we achieve. Yay, we're so awesoooome.
