This is going to be long. So one of my ex-officemate had been exchanging some emails with him and one day they happened to talk about books. My husband had been living in Japan for about 9 years then. She then told him about my novel, he got curious and googled my name. Then he found my blog, not the sewing blog, the sewing blog is a new one that I started after moving to Japan.
He found my old blog where I put my writings. He kinda liked it and decided to send me a fanmail. In fact the subject of the email is 'fanmail'.
We then emailed each other for about 1.5 years. Not too intensive, just about 1-3 emails a month. We never talked about ourselves, we only talked about, uhm, life in general. There were even months when we didn't sent emails to each other.
To make it short, after sometime, it felt like something suddenly snapped open. The number of emails suddenly rose and we began to talk about ourselves.
The whole thing just kinda swirled around until it couldn't be stopped any longer. One day he wrote that he wanted to come to Indonesia and meet me.
We met. And seven months later we got married. Thanks to my friend and Google :)
