First of all, what's a negative ego and why is it mine?
I'm not certain I understand your question, but I will do my very best to answer....
Do you mean "is it egotistical narcissism that inspires a desire to 'split away' into blah blah blah blah which seems integral in 'existential art'"?
I suppose one could argue that it is extreme narcissism (either born or bred within the individual) that allows the artist to perceive a "reality" as differentiated from the "collective reality" of society. Whether that is a "bad" thing is pretty subjective, however. I personally don't think there is anything wrong with being narcissistic.
I don't get the whole "intention to split away from life and love into a fantasy world filled with willful pride and lust" part of your question. Surely love is already in and of itself a 'fantasy world'? Pride and power lust a construct of the existential artist or simply something an artist experiences or can speak to? I think not! And so - what "life", then, is the artist removed from?
If I am getting your line of questioning you're asking "Does the artist indulge him/herself narcissistically so as to live in a fantasy world?" I think the artist strives more than the average passenger to become so absorbed in his/her personal journey that he/she becomes, then, self-absorbed in order to document the minutiae/culmination of thoughts, feelings, sensations, and then transmit them into the collective reality - via their talent. So, you see, what was once perceived narcissism has become intense generosity, n'est-ce pas?!
If you would be so kind as to be more specific I would be happy to try to answer you, better though I don't profess to be a leading non-authority on je ne sais quoi.

obviously. Casey Casem is hot.

is that a question or the answer to EVERY question ;) xx

take pills! I dunno. work out probably is the best. working out to George Michael or Prince is always a good look. Or Britney, Kylie or Madge.
-
maybe. probably not though. possibly CASUALTY. which one?
-
Currently writing, watching Reality TV, pretending to work out while watching reality TV, occasional working out, rinse, repeat. oh and add drinking Champagne to that. oh and I make music too. Sometimes I do laundry.

I don't know.. should I have one? fuck! internets is so many things to commit to!!

I don't think I've ever been really motivated to be a role model as such, but, yes, I think I probably do. I'm a pretty tolerant, eco-friendly, positive, artistic person who believes in being true to oneself, living presently, enjoying beautiful things and having fun.
I don't really do "messages" or "examples", I don't think people look to me to exemplify ladylike behavior or instill good values in children, and I'm not really one for moralistic high horses, shoulds and shouldn'ts etc.
Although that being said, I would fucking LOVE to have MISS AWESOME'S ACADEMY FOR DELINQUENT YOUNG LADIES, march them around in uniforms and sip tea and the like. All applicants must wear too much makeup, short skirts, and devastatingly charming bad behavior.

i'd rather dive into a pile of gold coins, rubies and emeralds, pop up and spout a fountain of gold outta my mouth while wearing a crown that somehow attached itself to my head as I swan-dove in. A la Scrooge McDuck.

Question: do I get to BE anyone I want to be or do I just get to SEE things, because it would be shit to say "I'd like to be in the court of Marie Antoinette" or something and then wind up being a scullery maid.
Assuming I still have to be me, I'd like to perhaps be in New York in the 60's or Hollywood in the 30's. -
those who are sickeningly wealthy are ALWAYS loved, sickeningly so.
-
right now I'm watching THE GOLDEN GIRLS. Other favorites include South Park, The Ricky Gervais Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Come Dine With Me....
-
I figured out that you are a fb friend, but I'm not quite sure if we have met IRL, so the current equation stands, I think...?
perhaps there should be some sort of introduction under strictly monitored conditions... for the sake of science! -
Baby, I love it.
If your love for IT were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches. And the beaches would be incomparable idyllic paradises of epic proportion, kitted out for strict decadence and deliciousness.
thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssssssss much.

That is a very, very good question. email Warner Brothers haha.

I can't answer this for fear of flooding the world with the tears of the people I didn't pick.
