it's an end of an era, for sure... but sad isn't the word. i think they've come a long way and did their best, even if it didn't mean becoming a huge band. i'm proud of them! now it's time to see what else life has to offer i suppose.

labor day went okay... i don't really remember doing much of anything though! and i shall try to post more, but grad school and a full-time job is tough stuff to juggle. plus, i haven't been cooking too often as a result! i'll try my best :)

It just means that I have to wear gluten free lip products, so anything that goes on or in my mouth has to be checked in case I ingest it. Same thing with gum, toothpaste, mints, medicine... Super fun

I spent the fourth with family at my grandparent's cabin in the middle of nowhere! north central PA to be exact. it was nice! and yes, there is a good vegan marshmallow substitute. if you can find them, Sweet and Sara makes an EXCELLENT fake.. so good you'd have no idea they weren't real other than the fact that they're square. i've never tried these, but Dandies also makes a vegan marshmallow.

Actually no, unless they're things like marshmallows or caesar salad with hidden animal products.. I have no meat cravings at all!

I like sweet potato casserole but i don't eat marshmallows because they aren't vegetarian.

I used quinoa/corn pasta (I believe the brand is ancient quinoa harvest, in a teal box), boiled with some frozen broccoli... Then in a separate pan I melted butter and whisked in a tablespoon of rice flour. Once it bubbled I added a cup of milk till boiling.. Then cheddar cheese and Parmesan went in with some parsley flakes, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. I mixed the sauce with pasta in an oven safe dish and baked at 350 with some extra cheese sprinkled on top. It's rely easy! I usually throw in whatever shredded cheese I have on hand and you don't need to be precise with measurements!

Actually my local grocery store has a lot of options and there is an amazing health food store 10 minutes away.. Traders joes and whole foods are too far so I only go on special occasions when something rare is needed.
