It's really hard to narrow it down to one specific song. I have so many favorites 'of all time'—see also http://www.last.fm/user/NickHumphries/library/loved.

Although I'm still not sure what specific occupation I would enjoy, I would love to work for a unique company, organization or agency where I could make a difference, especially in the area of social and environmental issues. Also, preferably, I want to be able to travel a lot.

If I had a million dollars, I would save $250,000 and use another $250,000 to travel the world with—but not all at once. Even $500,000 is a lot for one person, and so I would rather think of a creative way to donate the remaining $500,000 to those who really need it.

First I would visit Iceland, because, first of all, it's a country that never ceases to amaze me— its music, its culture, its environment, its politics, its people. Afterwards, I would travel to other Nordic and Scandinavian countries, i.e., Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Hey, if I had an unlimited budget. Of course, I would also want to visit other European countries, including—obviously—those in the UK. But that would be a lot to do in a month.

Quite a variety of people actually, including (but not limited to)—in no particular order— Bruce Lee, George Carlin, Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, Richard Feynman, Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawking, Steve Jobs, and more recently, Julian Assange of WikiLeaks. The list keeps expanding.

I used to have one, but not so much anymore. When I was a kid, my favorite car—if you could call it that— was the Hummer H1 (pre-1999), long before anyone had really even heard of Hummer. I still remember my first ride in the H1, when I was probably 7 or 8. It's just unfortunate that after GM purchased the Hummer brand in 1999, they started appealing to the mass market, later producing the H2. That's when they lost me.

Car designer. I drew cars habitually as a kid, particularly in elementary school, even though I probably wasn't the best at drawing. I drew the mostly side-views of cars and trucks, designing a few of my own from scratch. After a while I came up with all sorts of innovative and high-tech features for my designs. Pretty soon I began to design all sorts of ingenious products and gadgets based on interesting ideas I came up with. I was part designer, part inventer, all before the age of 12. Unfortunately, my ideas didn't progress beyond what I had drawn or written on paper. However, it did jumpstart my interest in design—and other creative fields—as time went on.

No, because just about anything is possible given enough time and/or the right circumstances. Luck, by most people's definition, is their interpretation of this very common outcome. It's called 'inevitability'.

I think life elsewhere is possible, given enough time— but I imagine that intelligent life is extremely rare. Nevertheless, before intelligent life can even become a possibility, regular (non-'intelligent') life has to do its thing first. It all has to evolve.

I think this one, so far (that I can think of right now): "Our lives are defined by opportunities, even the ones we miss", from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

I've always been a night person, which wasn't a very good habit I admit—yes, I think staying up late is a bad habit. Recently though I've become more of a morning person. I think mornings are so much more valuable.
