I've skipped just to play games all day not gonna lie XD. It was my senior year of high school so why not.

I'm not in school. BOO YAH!

Hehe, now this one was one I personally witnessed and could not make it up even if I tried.

A couple of years back I was dorming in this school and on thursday nights we had a late night program where the teachers would come in and give talks about various random things and there were snacks and stuff, but anyway, it was mostly mandatory, barring something coming up or at least asking to miss it.
So, one night as the teacher I usually listen to is talking, he's looking around and notices 2 of the students were missing (it's a small group)
So he asks around and no one knows where they went.
One of the kids gives the teacher this guy's cell phone # and the teacher gives him a call while we all listen.
The guy answers and the teacher asks him where he is. Guy answers that he's on a bus to a city a few hours away (we were allowed to travel on weekends).
So, our teacher asks him why he's going there
and the guy answers, after a pause, that he's going to his "great uncle's 80th birthday party". At 1 AM. My teacher, not being an idiot did not believe him after some back and forth, in which he pretty much said this kid must think he's a complete moron, he asked why the other student was traveling with this guy to this so called birthday party. The guy says "Because I get lonely."
They were both expelled after a few other incidents, but this really took the cake for dumb excuses.
I probably didn't tell the story too well, but it always brings a smile to my face to remember their abject stupidity :P

Hmm.....food poisoning...only to see that they partied later that night all over Facebook. *facepalm*

I've heard a few pearlers in my day: I think "I had to attend my own funeral" and "I was up until 2am playing WoW" easily tops the list though

Hmm, Blitzball... I'd have to say. I never understood it when I first played it and I don't think I'll ever will or WANT to now. Another evil mini-game that rolls to my mind is the fricking Chao Races in Sonic Adventure games. They just force you to do this crazy grinding and they're FORCED mini-games if you want to 100% complete Sonic Adventure games. So lame!

I remember a bunch of people skipped class to play Skyrim.

Dying on the Behemoth (first boss, enemy in the game) in Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest three times in a row.

Try MegaMan 9 and/or 10. Both are on the VC and are worth doing a Let's Play of.

I would probably use both the ability to fly and Instant Teleportation. It would depend on which would be the faster mode of transportation.

I do not see myself in that way maybe others do but I for do not view myself as a jealous person

If you're an RPG fan, I'd recommend Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. It comes in various packs, and I've only played the first part, but it's quite interesting, fun, and has a gripping story.

There are a lot of games there to choose. Mario Party 2, Mario Golf, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario Kart, Kirby & the Crystal Shards. Donkey Kong Country games. That is all I can think of at the moment
