Currently L&F is only being developed for Savage Worlds. But, visit this other question for more info: <a hreaf"http://www.formspring.me/nevermetpress/q/341425804">http://www.formspring.me/nevermetpress/q/341425804</a>

Currently, Loaerth & Feywyrd are slated only to be developed for Savage Worlds. We would love to develop it for 4E - but time and resources are limited. Plus, given the complete re-imagining of "dwarves", "trolls" and many other stock fantasy elements in L&F - there could potentially be some conflict with the 4th Edition D&D Game System License. That being said, we are not opposed to developing the setting for 4E, we just would need more people to become involved to make it a reality. If you would be interested in helping make that happen, send us an email and let us know: editor@nevermetpress.com.

Well - most of the developers at Nevermet Press are hip to steampunk. So, Yes! - I would say we definitely like it. Some of us are newer to the genre than others though.
As for Loaerth & Feywyrd, it is headed towards being "fantasy steampunk" - we call it coalpunk though to convey the gritty nature of Loaerth. (In L&F there's going to be a whole system of crafting called CoalCraft that is going to be largely inspired by both steampunk and clockwork material) -
The short answer is that we depend on the upfront creative effort and open input from a community of content developers who are then paid through royalties generated once a project becomes a product and sells.
We don't ask for financial patronage upfront either - instead we value the input and contributions from the community regardless of their ability to fund the work. From simply leaving comments or making suggestions, to detailed written content or NMP inspired illustrations - there are many ways to support NMP's projects. It's a bit unorthodox perhaps, but we believe that through crowd sourcing we can create beautiful and engaging games that people will want to play.
Currently, Nevermet Press is working towards building a community of "content developers": artists, writers, editors, designers, and play testers. Everyone who participates has direct access to the internal development of the projects NMP is working on - hence the tagline "community driven games". The end game of each of our projects is a printed book or eBook. Each content developer who contributes to the project shares in any revenue generated from it sales through a royalty plan that is made clear to everyone involved at the start of the project. -
We won't have booth anywhere, but Michael will be attending GenCon for sure.
