This is a very difficult one to answer as I am personally a big fan of Marc with a C. However, for this, I had to take a scientific approach and point you to this study (http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/02/10/happiness.possessions/index.html) which determined that experiences bring more enjoyment than possessions. Wouldn't it be better to experience Marc with 39 other nerdy musicians in a concert setting? That and you can always try to purchase the vinyl album later when you get more moneys while Nerdapalooza comes but once a year and will never be the same twice. :)
