I am still working to get them up to a website. We have a few congregations in our synod using social media (primarily) Facebook to some effectiveness. While I have not done something on my site, as the synod's communicator I have done a number of presentations and tried to lead by example with the synod's pages.

I have sung professionally. So, yes.

Currently, our synod has chosen to use Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. We started with Twitter. It was simple enough and we started with just sharing links. It has slowly grown to have more interactivity. We followed with Facebook and it's half a billion people. YouTube we use mostly as a video sharing site with links on the others.
I am actually excited and have applied for entity status with Google+. Most exciting to me is not the social platform, rather I am looking forward to the work collaboration tools. Our employees are spread across the state. Being able to use the Huddle at synod events for the staff circle... hangouts for committee meetings... etc. -
