I would love to be a magician's assistant - the one who gets to push the swords through the box he's hiding in. I'd replace the blades when he wasn't looking with real ones...

Not nearly enough!

I believe there's a lot of crazy things out there in the world, and that there's a lot of things that can't be explained by science and pure rationality. Whether ghosts exist or not is something I've never been able to answer, but the small child in me who used to enjoy Scooby-Doo wants to say "YESYESYES".
-
Life is always full of surprises - I think it's turning out exactly the way I would never have thought.
But then again, I never really had any expectations to start with :) -
Well that's a huge assumption, to begin with. God created people, not gay or straight people. How that person turns out is completely up to them, to be honest. If I feel inclined towards gayness, does that make it any more right, under God's law, than feeling inclined towards drugs, or feeling inclined towards violence? No, it doesn't. An inclination or a predisposition does not define who someone is, and it should never have to.
-
But see, that denies the one fundamental of Christianity. No sin is irrevocable. That's the point. Jesus came that we might be free from sin and free from guilt. Being gay is not a sin. It's acting upon that and living a life contrary to what God has planned that is the sin. I have gay friends at my church. I'm not going to deny it - it's a struggle for them. But they find the strength to do it through Jesus, and they glorify him and the Father every day by fighting against this difficult temptation. We live in a broken world, but one day, we are promised eternal life - a life without sin, without death, without pain, where every tear will be wiped away, and we can live with the Creator who loves us more than we could ever possibly know.
-
Well, technically, God created the people. Not the sin. We all have the capacity to do both what is right and what is wrong.
-
I think the question is a bit of a moot point, really. If a gay person wants to get married, then I'm guessing they aren't a Christian, and therefore, it's all rather academic. First they must know Christ before they can understand their own sinful nature, and understand what they're doing is wrong. Actively pursuing a gay lifestyle isn't any different or any worse than any other sin. It's still wrong, but that doesn't mean it's somehow worse than something else. So I guess the answer is, if gay people want to get married, that's up to them, just like it's up to other people if they want to sleep around or get smashed every night. Until they know Christ, I am in no position to judge their actions.

Yes, it is human-centric. But you're assuming that humans are just like all the other animals on the planet, by your definition, and not set apart and created especially as God's chosen creatures.
God isn't about rules. He's about love. He's about caring enough for us to sacrifice himself for us. In return, he asks that we, his creations, love him, the Creator. If he asks that we wait until marriage to enjoy the glorious gift that is sex because we love him, then we have to ask why. If he's Creator of the Universe, and of the joys of sex, then surely he knows how sex should be best enjoyed -- in the environment of marriage, a lifelong bond between man and woman. That's why. -
Look at myself in the mirror? :P

How much money did this cookie cost you? You got ripped, bra.

Europa! I think London's about as far as I've gone from home.

Just before his unfortunate demise, I picked up Thriller. Best decision.

Well if I did, then I wouldn't believe in him!

I actually get very angry, despite appearances. Depends on what it is, but it's usually out of sheer frustration over something someone else has said or done. Someone's stupidity in any context is a huge trigger!
-
I do not. Unfortunately, in the first series, I was unlucky enough to switch it on during a male nudity scene. Turned me right off.
-
Two And A Half Men. That show can go die in a hole for poisoning the minds of the children.
-
My friends would probably be screaming "TALKER" right now :P and I'd have to agree.
-
Can't say as I have. But then again, I haven't had enough jobs to be fired from!
