When I first heard the news, I felt nothing. I guess I am numb, as well as most of the Filipinos in this hopeless country, where people think of celebrities as geniuses and good leaders, in a country where looks matter more than one's brain and personality, where money is the ultimate thing that everyone work hard and die for. It didn't prove anything at all. It just strengthens the fact that no matter how much people struggle for change, they are nothing compare to those who are on top. No one's free. No one's truly happy. Well I guess we can do nothing. We are considered as the media for change, but how can we be if money runs the whole business, if the few brave ones are always murdered? As long as money is worshiped more than anything else in this country, then life will still go on - miserably as always. This is a fact.
