don't lay off the wine! it's funny ;)
I do find Flemish and Dutch easy to understand, yes, but I've never learnt it so I feel that active usage would be much harder (and quite confusing for that matter). I like the languages though :)

Hehe, I have no idea. I've never considered charging for it so I'm not quite sure what the going rates are.

Talking about my daily life, not terribly much.. really angry I mean. I can get riled up about stupid stuff within minutes, but calm down within minutes as well. Unreliable and flaky people can make me angry though. My own procrastination makes me angry as well. But altogether, I'm fairly chill. I am annoyed by stuff, but not angry about it, and my annoyed-ness usually doesn't last very long.

Well! I was in ze Europe a couple of weeks ago, but nothing where I could have planned some extra weekend or something :( Way too rush. How long are you going to stay? WE NEED A PLAN MISSY.

Haha.. she hasn't reconfirmed.. so I let the question sit in my inbox, just in case it should ever be replied to!

Haha :D Actually I have. I did the usual Mini-Europe/Atomium excursion when we went on a high school trip to Brussels and Antwerp. (I keep wanting to write plutonium instead of atomium. Hm.) I think I must have been 17 or something? No issues taking Miss S there. I kept seeing your references to Mini-Europe, please alert me of any possible dangers.

all countries! really, I think any country is worth to see. But to stay realistic, by continent it would be - in Asia: Laos (which I hope to make this year), in Europe: Norway, in the Americas: Colombia and Brazil (and Argentina, but these are the most important), in Africa: Namibia (and Senegal, South Africa, Kenya and Eritrea), in the Pacific Tuvalu and Kiribati.

I'm from Austria. If you can, please PM me for my sister's name - it's super rare and I wouldn't like for it to show up on Google or anything. Re: languages, I'm copying what I wrote further down below: "So, while German is my mother tongue, I've also learnt (in that order, but the order doesn't correspond to my abilities in the respective language): English, Latin, French, Italian, Greek, Russian, Polish, Spanish, Mandarin and now Japanese." But my abilities do seriously vary, so I have to work hard! I'm a super lazy person though.

Hm, not that I am aware of. Would a Malaysian guy who's lived here for ages count?

It's a mix, really. I've been sent on so many work trips that I've sometimes lost the spirit to go somwhere for vacation purposes because I enjoyed not having to go somewhere else for a weekend or two. Now I have to travel much less for work so yeah, I do spend quite a chunk of what I earn on travels. Although the good thing is that there are airmiles to be used, worktrips to be combined with a few days here and there and of course the amazing location of Singapore (in about 2 hours or even less of flight you can reach so many countries, all served by cheap carriers many times a day). This year I've admittedly already overdone it a little on the private overseas trips so I'll have to take a little break (although I AM going to Europe end of the week, but I don't have to pay for it.)

Probably foreign politics (or lack thereof). I also closely follow European integration issues (of both, old and new members) and enlargement undertakings. Greece and the Euro overshadow everything right now and it's interesting to get a glance at the crisis management attempts, too.

    20. Lucia

Not really. Or at least rarely. I've done it before quite consciously (being in a bad place and straight away organized a summer of volunteering in the US to get away), but in the end it doesn't really help anything. If anything, it makes things only worse. I've acknowledged that and don't use traveling as means to get away from things. I'd rather stick them out and enjoy the travels more!
