good question.
the answer is yes i do, because you can't date someone for 7 and a half months then just magically not like them anymore like his parents think you can. However, things between him are over. when he comes back i have no intention of trying to be with him again. things would obviously not be the same / work out at all with his parents and whatnot.
Because i have no intention of being with him again, i decided a few months ago to move on with my life without him in it and i have :] i've been able to spend a hell of a lot more time with my friends and i've been able to talk to / flirt with whomever i'd like ;] it's been nice having so much more of my time back to myself (: i've really enjoyed it and i've discovered a few things about myself that i had up to now not known.
So now, when i think for Daniel, which i rarely do, i think of him in a good light :] i have absolutely no negative feelings towards him or even his parents anymore :] i think the decision they made for him, whether it gets the results they intend or not can result in nothing but good for everyone involved :) so for that i am thankful (:
anyways, in short, yes i still like him, no i don't plan on pursuing him when he comes home, no i don't have negative feelings for him or his fam, and yes i think they made the correct decision regarding what to do for him.
