Wait, I know a lot about trends in fashion/pop culture throughout the ages?! Okay, we'll go with that! I do!

My favorite eras, in terms of style, are the 20s and the 50s. A lot of things from those eras are already coming back in style: You can buy cloche hats at Target. Ankle-bar Mary Janes & t-strap heels can be found at any shoe store. A lot of jewelry is reminiscent of the 20s these days too, pearls and roses and jewels oh my! And 50s throwbacks have been pretty prominent for most of the 00's, with tattoo culture bringing pin-up culture with it and inspiring lots of rockabilly nods. And shirtdresses are becoming popular too, and they're definitely a nod to the 50s.

I feel like Carrie Bradshaw. Lolz.

I like that flannel has come back into style and that we're not wearing it 4 sizes too big over ratty t-shirts and ripped up jeans anymore. I like flannel. It's cute when it fits. And boys in flannel? SWOON.
