Why did you want to become a Youth Pastor?
Great Question. I grew up as a PK (Pastor’s Kid) and have always believed everyone is called into some sort of ministry. My first experience in Youth Ministry was straight out of High School at my Fathers Church. It was more like ministering to Peers being so young. One of the reasons I stress so much that youth start ministering ASAP. Some of the youth we ministered to back then are still going in the ministry. Then we moved to Atlanta and I was involved in Media Ministry and Young Married Ministry. I still was involved in youth but more just supporting the youth Pastor. Everything I have gone thru has been a training ground for were God wants me I still consider everything I experience as an opportunity for God to train me. Then God brought us back to Hawaii and God really impressed on us the need for the children and youth in Hawaii. In short everything that happened in my life was God preparing me to minister to youth.
