When you figure out how.. let me know ;) Just kidding..

But in all seriousness, I struggle with this as well. I know this sounds like a generic answer.. but honestly.. the only thing that is going to transform your attitude towards this person, is Jesus.

Ray and I had this conversation last night. Being "like Jesus" in our attitudes towards people, ONLY comes through spending time with Him. There really isn't anything you can do to change. Just spend time with Jesus and He will transform you (if you let Him). :)

      Hope this helps!

Hmm, this is really difficult. My parents have always been believers but Ray's struggled with this throughout his life.

I would say that "honoring" your parents does not have to include agreeing with them. You can disagree with the religious beliefs while being respectful and appropriate. Ultimately, you're not going to convince your parents that being a Christian is a good thing if you're disrespectful and rude about your differing opinions on religion.

I could give more specific advice if I knew the situation in more detailed..

Spend lots of time with Jesus. Read the bible, pray, worship.. and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in your interactions with your parents. Let them see God's love through you. I know its probably really difficult, but God is definitely going to use you.!

I don't have one. I like all colors. I rarely like pastels. But in the right context, any color can be great :)

Oops, I got behind on answering questions. I thought it was really funny. People can be incredibly naive. The bible is very clear that we can't create a formula to figure out when the world is going to end.. And yet some people disregard those scriptures and convince thousands of people that they've figured it all out. Its ludicrous.

Well, me and Jesus have had an interesting journey. It started at birth. I was raised in a Christian home and was always brought up to be in love with Jesus. But.. *dun dun dun* I strayed from the path many many times.

I think the last time Jesus really had to knock some sense into me was early '07, when Ray and I met. My walk with God hasn't been perfect since then.. but it has been steadily growing since then :)

I can't think of any churches specifically..but that doesn't mean they don't exist. There are denominations in Greenville that believe in things that I don't agree with such as "once saved, always saved", there are other churches that do not believe in the gifts of the spirit - which I don't agree with.

That is why I am so thankful for my church :) I don't think my church is perfect but I love the leadership and the people there so much!

The good: Seeing so much of the country/world at such a young age. Being involved in full-time ministry changed my life forever. I can honestly say that I would not be the woman I am today were it not for my years of traveling with Reality Outreach Ministries. I got to meet so many amazing people and form life-long friendships that I am forever grateful for. I am truly blessed to have lived the life that I have.

The bad: Not being able to see my friends and family at home very often. My brother only traveled with us for a year and it was devastating to have to go weeks.. sometimes months.. without seeing him.

The ugly: Its common knowledge that if you're around someone too much, you can grind on each other's nerves. Living in a 34 foot motor home with two other people 10 months out of the year meant little - to no privacy and very little alone time. ;p

Yes :) My husband is my accountability partner for everything. But I also have 5 people in Caesura Surrender that keep me accountable weekly :)

Every week, we have a selected section of the bible to read on our own. And then we have a discussion on what we've read and pray together. :)
