My family (12 in total)and I will be staying outside the park from 8/12 - 8/17 can you suggest any discounts and tips? Also can I buy the disney meal plan even if I am not staying at a disney hotel?
No, the dining plans can only be purchased as part of a WDW package and you must stay at a WDW resort.
My biggest tip? Learn the Fast Pass system ASAP, and use it extensively. It won't save you money, but it will save you a ton of time (which is money).
