I wish I could give you a definitive answer but I'm not particularly loyal to only one band although I am more partial to liking bands I've seen live such as Vampire Weekend, Broken Social Scene, Okkervil River ;-)

Haha, I agree although I think in the end of the day, it's the individual who chooses to eat fast food and up to the parents to educate and show by example to their children how exercise self-control ! It's quite strange, America is such a modern, advanced country but is still backwards in other ways like what you've mentioned :-/ It's pretty sad. Racism is definitely not excusable and I think people to be educated at an early age about it.

Roflmao. Not all countries do ! Australia certainly doesn't even though we do make fun of American culture and politics (aussies just tend to take the piss at anything and everything). But a lot of people (and I'll be honest, that includes myself) do not like certain aspects of the US such as the right to take up arms, and policing foreign nations to follow their lead. I myself do not dislike Americans. I mean, yes, I've met people from the US that I haven't particularly liked because they've been rude and very close-minded with their opinions, but I know that not all Americans are like that. I will not try and stereotype someone based on where they're from !

It's interesting that you've mentioned that all countries hate the US because I've always wondered what Americans know about foreigners' opinions on them. I mean every country has its problems but it does seem that America does make more of an appearance in news than any other country and as such is perhaps more susceptible to being frown down upon.

Yes I have in 2005 ;-) My French family was generous enough to take me to Paris for three days (we lived in Angouleme), where we ventured inside the Notre Dame cathedral and did the tour where you can go all the way to the top !

There are so many to name ! After getting pay TV, I was constantly glued to the television so I watched a lot (Cartoon Network and Nickolodeon !). From the 50's classics: The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Richy Rich, Goldy Gold, to the more modern ones (as in the 90's :-P): Barney, The Magic School Bus, Arthur, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy. The list could go on but I won't ;-b

After about a year, my parents freaked out at the amount of TV my sister & I watched and unplugged the cable and we went back to regular shows ! hahah.

And yes, my old house was in a very bushland area and our house was right in front of a sanctuary so there were quite a few creepy crawlies ! Some MASSIVE. I don't know why though, I've never been afraid of spiders :-P
