BIG TIME. just do communication at UTS. noooo exams, everrrrr
-
I do! It's a bit odd though. It's to bring a packed lunch to work and uni every day so I don't spend so much money! Funny though because it's such a small one and very easy to keep, so I haven't ruined it :) well ok, today I forgot...
How about you? Have you kept it? X -
Haha, no exams at UTS! Or at least, not for communication students. How exciting! though assessments are a pain. Particularly group work. I hate group work! I have serious trust issues, so I end up taking on a lot of jobs in the group just because I worry they won't get done otherwise... silly me. What exams do you have? xx
-
The first of January, when everyone is complaining about hangovers and I am probably highly well-rested from a night in. LOLJK when Franmeister comes home. Cannot wait for that crashtackle. <3
-
Oooops. Forgot to answer for a while. Not a great deal, chillin (freezing) in Canberra with the fam (my dad lives there with my stepmum and my half siblings), back to uuuuuni tomorrow! How was your long weekend?
Which uni are you at? -
Oh wow, you would not believe the number of times I have been asked that! Which is no surprise, I hear she is a ranga debater. But no. Total coincidence with the last names. I do have a lovely younger sister, though, her name is Elliot :)
-
Hmmm interesting. Not sure I see a menacing side to it but there you go. "You're special" could be rather menacing :P Sam used to tell me I was "don't-eat-the-paste kind of special". And yes Miffy's old house would have been so convenient for school! Oh, look, 8:30, better start getting dressed.
Do you have a job, Formspring Friend? If so, where do you work and do you like it? xx -
Mine said "You're Special". I was rather confused when people began to think it was me... As I kind of got the first note that I knew of, back in early march of year 12. But it's nice to think people would think I'd do that; I shall take it as a compliment :) what did yours say? And yes, can't remember if I said this in my earlier post but I do have a Hornsby-shaped hole in my heart at the moment. I keep walking around the house bursting into the grad song, missing Mr Hatton over the pa system. You know Miffy could hear that from her old house? How crazy. It'd make me so nostalgic. x
-
Wooo! Go Amy! Actually I kind of don't want to guess. I like secrets. I was one of those people who was glad we never found out who the Mysterious Note Person was back last year...do you remember that? I lost my note and will always miss it :(
it's been 6 months and *counts* 2 weeks for ryan and I. It's a nice stage to be at cos it's very comfortable but he is not yet bored with me. Give him time though :)
no questions for you. Other than do you miss HG? -
I do! It tends to be a combined list of things and people though... I'll have a to-do list of things and then find "Ryan O'Donnell" scrawled at the bottom in someone else's writing sometimes...
-
Oooh wow, three languages! That's quite remarkable! In that case, you'll pick Spanish up quite quickly, I think. From this I can gather you're doing some kind of arts degree. Yaaaay. INFORMATION.
Well. What doesn't Ryan buy on eBay. Last month he bought two lifelike plastic hands (both were right hands). He has also bought a variety of pipes, and is currently looking for an accordion. Oh my. He tends to get fixated on one particular (usually vintage) object that he wants really badly for a few weeks. This is convenient as I tend to know exactly what he's going to want for his birthday or our anniversary, though. :)
Were you, pray, in my society and culture class? -
Oooh, so very close to my house :) I shall go on a Pablo and Rusty's hunt. And you should come. Spanish is a fantastic language to learn, particularly as a first second language (if that makes sense...?) because it's got a really logical structure and flow, and lots of similarities with other European languages including English in tems of the vocab. So it's straightforward, plus very widely spoken :) (read: DO IT). Have you learned another language before/do you speak a language other than English?
I don't think I could live by myself, too hard :( so I'd want to move in with a good friend or partner, so I guess if Ryan and I last a couple more years it'd be him. If he can get over his eBay addiction and not clutter our apartment with junk :P if not, hopefully another good friend with money to burn on rent, hehe.
Are you a Squishme girl? -
Ooh! Where can I claim such hot chocolate? That does sound amazing. I had a white malt hot chocolate in Melbourne once and it was the most wonderful thing to ever be in my mouth ever. Hey, that could be misconstrued as an oral sex joke. I'm gonna leave it there.
I've gotta save about $20 000 for my exchange trip to Spain, but I think I might be eligible to get youth allowance while I'm over there and perhaps a few grants from UTS. So hopefully I don't have to save all that much :P hmm. I imagine that I'll be moving out of home after Spain, too, if not the year beforehand, so I'd also like money to decorate my future house!
Hmm. Not in my group. Were you in my Legal class? I'm getting a hunch. But I could be wrong. x -
Hmmm the people sometimes have to do it themselves when the assistant (ie me) is busy or they just need someone to hold it still rather than follow the spit around the mouth. Teehee. Ew. I work 15 hours a week which is nice; I still get sleepy-in mornings and early finishes, and the pay is nice.
The alcohol thing is difficult to explain. The hot chocolate was average. I should introduce you to my friend Maddison, who makes the most wonderful hot chocolate on the planet. This was not one of her creations. Were you in my group at school? xx -
Lolol. I'm not sure anyone else actually applied for the job...it'd be weird if I was actually the best applicant of a few, seeing as I'm eighteen and studying advertising with no training. You don't need training really; it's all done on the job and I just pass him equipment and do the suctiony thing with the spit. And develop film and answer the phone and sort files :) it's very good fun.
No champagne; I must say, I am not much of an alcohol fan myself. Just water then a hot chocolate :)
YAY you're a Hornsby. Were you Year 12 2009? -
Well! It's 8:36am on Tuesday, so my very boring answer would be nothing! So perhaps I'll tell you what I did yesterday?
("sure!")
I had work from 11-4, and i work at a dental surgery, so that involved holding the nozzle of the suction machine, developing X rays (very fun!), and using this wicked ol skool credit card imprinted because the commonwealth bank's card swipers all decided to stop working! After this, I went out for dinner with the boyf for his birthday :) a good day.
Did you go to Hornsby Girls'? -
Wow, I'm quite enjoying deducing who you are. You're a uni student. The likelihood that you're doing Communications at UTS is reasonably low, as Ideas in History isn't due till Tuesday, and who completes stuff on Saturday in that case? So you're either not doing my course or you're a chump :P You also haven't seen Scott Pilgrim.
It's really a fantastic movie. It's half romantic comedy, half video game. So visually, and with the sound effects, it's really engaging, and the plot's also really clever and sweet. I think the way it ends is also quite perfect and a nice resolution. I would actually give it five stars, no joke.
Are you a girl or a boy? (for every question I answer, I get to ask you one.) -
It's not really something I'm about to hit up the internet with in the near future :p It's also I guess not really my place to judge how someone's being treated in a relationship. I shall leave this to Dr. Phil! Glad to hear your love life's lovely, is always a plus. Though single's good fun too. How was your day, mysterious friend? I saw Scott Pligrim and loved it. x
