I've never given away a book that's been personalized for me. It's FOR ME, so it'll stay in my collection until I can't hold onto it any more. But I don't mind owning other people's used books. Most of my collection IS used and has signatures, notes, random bookmarks (and things used as bookmarks). That's what I love about buying them. I like the little bits of the book's former life :)

Camera. I don't have a use for my cellphone camera. It's not that great and even if I had a "better" one, nothing can replace a real camera in my opinion.

If I need fuel to keep me warm and I only have books....I'll do it. I think book burning, or things like smashing Beatles records and the like, are a waste of material and only promote people to read/listen to the "forbidden" stuff more. At least recycle the books :)

Neither.....I have too many other books to not waste my time with (neither of these series are close to what I'd like to read.)

I have a poetry anthology from 1872 or 73, I forget which exact year at the moment.

Computer. TV is just mindlessly staring at a screen and watching what the media wants you to. At least with a computer you can interact and control more of what you're watching/doing.

Why is IE even in this question.....it's not even in the same realm as any of the other browsers.

I've never read anything by Green either....to be honest I've never heard of John Green before. If you're questioning a book enough, I don't see a reason to buy it at this time. Maybe look into it more and look for some excerpts first. This way if you don't like those you're not wasting your money.

Yourself? No joke. you're really the only one I get questions from. I don't know anyone else who really asks anything sadly.

Not really. I don't enjoy most aspects of pop culture, so I do my best not to waste my time with it.

Twilight? No, wait. I'm NEVER going to give that book more of a chance than reading excerpts. So, no there isn't a book I'd secretly enjoy. If I like a book, I don't mind who knows it.

      ebooks: from Amazon or Smashwords.

print: from my local used bookstore. If it's from an author I know, I'll buy it directly from them if possible to get it signed.

I do my best not to limit myself to certain genres, reading/age levels, or "gender" based books. I like to keep myself open to ANYTHING.

I'm a poet, writer, book reviewer/blogger. I almost always carry a book around with me everywhere but I'm always looking for new authors/books along with the hard to find random ones that pop up.
