Right now, I'm procrastinating on falling asleep. Too busy thinking about all the work I'm procrastinating on to be able to quiet my mind enough to fall asleep. (I think that made sense.)

I would suggest that you continue to explore that dynamic that you both seem to share a mutual interest in. Mentors can sometimes be useful, especially finding another couple or even a single person (does not necessarily have to be a dominant or domme) with experience in BDSM to help you both with questions and feelings that may arise after your sessions, and in-between them. Books can be useful, too, but they only go so far.

So much of BDSM is about really digging into the experiential aspects of it, and figuring out what works for you both, what does not, and why. That's why having a support-system can be so invaluable. If you have others to process with (besides your significant other), it can be easier to see and understand what's going on and how to refine it to both suit your needs and desires, as they evolve. With that information, you can make informed decisions about whether or not to continue along the path, in what capacity, and to what extent.

No, but I had fun telling all the other kids that different colors of construction paper had different flavors, and watching them eat it. :)

Ha. Not quite thrown... more like spilled. Iced coffee. And years ago. Never again. Never ever again.

Mmmm... I don't think it makes any sense at all to rank fetishes along some sort of psuedo-linear hierarchy of importance or "craziness" or what-have-you. I am definitely into some controversial edge-play, but I think that fetish is a natural part of embodied, aware, consensual human sexuality, and with that, I don't have any kinks that are particularly "crazy" (at least from my point of view).
