Just don't be afraid. Quite honestly, some people won't accept you. They'll think you're weird and put you down. You'll want to crawl back into your comfort zone and isolate yourself, but you just need to keep putting yourself back out there. There are still very nice people out there, you just gotta find them! Find things in common, try to avoid awkward silent moments. Don't just stand in one place and stare. Don't try too hard either. Relax and just enjoy yourself.
