That's a good place to start! Markers and stickers is good enough if that's what you have to express yourself! You can use whatever you want, to be honest! It's your journal, no one can tell you what to use and what not to use! :)

That's totally fine! Just don't leave them with one or two filled pages and them leave them hanging, okay? Show them some love too!

Craft paint is the best to get on a small allowance! They're usually only 50-90 cents a small bottle, and it's easy to grow a collection! You don't need fancy materials to express yourself! ;)

It's okay to look at other journals. Markers and things are okay if that's all you have, just work with what you got! If you want some cheap painting materials, craft paint is a good way to go, they're usually only 50-90 cents a bottle. Pick out a few colors and see where that takes you!

I mainly use photographs from fashion catalogs, and I emailed a rep from each magazine as to what their copyrights are on catalog photos. As long as I don't make a monetary profit off my art that features their photos, they don't really care what I do with them. Their photos are fine to use for personal art, and that's all my art ever is. Just personal. :)

I took all three! 101 and 102 are encouraged to be taken together, but 103 is a great stand-alone class! And I really like 101 and 103 the best, and I can't choose between them ;)

Great question! The great thing about gel medium is that it will stick, but NOT as bad as many other glues like mod podge. To reduce sticking, you can make sure to clean up any excess glue that might have gotten anywhere you didn't want it to. But if you use it as a varnish (or finish), then just remember to not to put too much pressure on the book when you close it shut. That's what usually makes the pages stick. I hope this helped!

Honestly, I'm always experimenting with sizes, but I always like to use journals that are over 80 lbs. Right now I'm using one that's 95 lbs. and it's a DREAM! :) Oh, and it's 7x10!

Normally I use craft paint, brands like Anita's usually. But right now I'm experimenting with heavy body acrylic paint. :)

It's a Canson brand notebook, 7x10, with mix-media type paper. Found it at hobby lobby, and it has a blue cover :)

I haven't been able to play in a long time, but I really want to get back into it. But it sucks because any new DDR games they come out with have stupid songs (brittney spears, rap songs, etc) :/

I don't have a Michaels in my town so I'm not sure what brands they sell, but maybe you can look for a brand called Apple Barrel? I know those are less than a dollar, for sure. :)

Oh definitely! I love Samantha Kira, Willowing, and Milliande to name a few. If you take a look on my profile on youtube, I have a playlist that is full of great techniques for newbies :D
